Rick Dillwood is a video producer in Winston-Salem, NC. He earned his MFA in Film & Video Production from UNCG in 2011 and completed the feature-length documentary, Between Friends & Family, in 2012.

Carrie Hart is a scholar and educator in Winston-Salem, NC. She earned an MA in Women's & Gender Studies and a PhD in Educational & Cultural Studies, both from UNCG. She teaches English and Feminist Studies, mostly to young adults, and enjoys both teaching and making visual texts whenever she has the chance.

During his reign as Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, Ahmed III hosted an annual tulip festival. Candles were fixed to the backs of tortoises that meandered through the garden, illuminating individual flowers for the enjoyment of the honored guests.
We like to make films that do the same: focus people’s attention on a small detail of the world long enough to appreciate its wonder.
